Pease Golf Course (Blue 9)

Pease Golf Course (Blue 9) is a 9-hole public layout in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, part of a 27-hole facility designed by Alexander Findlay and Stiles and opened in 1901. The course plays through leafy woodlands past streams to manicured greens, giving the round a tree-lined, parkland character. Practice options are extensive: a 30,000 square foot driving range and practice tee, a regulation-size putting green, and a short game area with space for chip shots, pitch shots, flop shots to an actual green, and bunker practice. The full-service pro shop carries apparel and equipment from Titleist, Foot Joy, PING, and Nike. Grill 28 is a year-round public restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with American and Mediterranean influences, and hosts live music on Friday nights.
