Pasatiempo Golf Club

Pasatiempo Golf Club, a semi-private 18-hole course in Santa Cruz, California, opened in 1929 and was designed by Alister MacKenzie. It carries a historic top 100 ranking and is rated 4.9 by 50+ Hole19 golfers, making it a popular round among Hole19 golfers in California. The layout moves across rolling hills with elevation changes and ocean views throughout the property. Hole 16 is notable for one of the most diabolical putting surfaces in golf. Practice facilities include a driving range near the first green with shuttle service from the first tee, a large putting green adjacent to the first tee, and a chipping green and bunker in the same area. Golf professionals offer individual and group lessons by appointment. The Pro Shop provides club rentals and fittings. MacKenzie's restaurant, located within the clubhouse, serves casual dining with views of Monterey Bay and the course, featuring vaulted ceilings, a wrap-around balcony, a fireplace, and five big screen TVs. The bar carries 14 taps from local breweries and wineries and was recently renovated.
