Hole 10 at DeLaveaga Golf Course has been voted one of the toughest holes in Northern California — a fitting introduction to what this public 18-hole, par-70 layout in Santa Cruz, California puts in front of you. Designed by Bert Stamps and opened in 1968, the course runs through forested hillsides, canyons, and eucalyptus groves. It ranks among the top public courses in California and has hosted the Santa Cruz City Amateur. Hole19 golfers rate it 4.4, and it is one of the most-played courses in California on Hole19. The two-level, 40-station lighted driving range offers three bucket sizes, thick mats, and protective screens. The Golf Shop handles retail and range tees. The Grille at DeLaveaga is an award-winning restaurant serving Continental and California cuisine with locally sourced and organic ingredients, open for breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Sunday from 8am to 3pm. The RangeSide Bar is an outdoor patio bar with a full bar, TV, music, cornhole, and ping pong.
