Description
Hole19 golfers rank Olmos Basin Municipal Golf Course a popular round among golfers in Texas, and the layout in San Antonio backs that up with genuine character. Opened in 1963 and originally designed by George Hoffman, the 18-hole, par-72 course was later redesigned by Jeffrey D. Blume, ASGCA. It stretches from 4,878 to 7,038 yards across tree-lined fairways, with a creek winding through many of the holes. Hole 2, a par 4 dogleg right, demands a long uphill approach and is rated the most difficult hole on the course. As a municipal track, it has hosted both the Men's and Women's City Amateur Championships. Grab-and-go food and beverage items are available on site.
