Öffentlicher Golfplatz Siek Ahrensburg is a 27-hole layout in Siek, Schleswig-Holstein, designed with decades of hands-on experience from owner Barry Rookledge, who drew on his background as a golf professional and his earlier 27-hole facility in Sülfeld. The course was built across roughly 70 hectares, shaped in close collaboration with a golf course architect and construction specialists H. + D. Brehmer from Heide. The land was carefully modelled throughout, with numerous ponds and biotopes integrated into the design. A full irrigation system — including fairway watering — keeps the course in consistent condition even during dry summer months, going beyond the tee and green coverage typical at most venues. The course is one of the most-played in Schleswig-Holstein on Hole19, and Hole19 golfers have rated it 4.2 out of 5 across more than 100 reviews.
