Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, opened in 1900 in Nuwara Eliya, Central Province, Sri Lanka, is an 18-hole semi-private course with more than a century of history behind it. The club hosts the N.E.G.C. Junior Open and the Nuwara Eliya Inter-School Golf Tournament. A Junior Golf Academy with resident coaches trains over 75 girls and boys, with sessions on Monday and Thursday afternoons. The clubhouse includes a bar and lounges open from 6.00am daily, a Coffee Lounge, catering facilities, locker rooms, and a pro shop stocked with equipment and apparel. Visitors' accommodation is available across three blocks and a Par 8 Cottage.

Chris MusMay 05, 2026Greens need major work. Lots of different grasses, needs rolling as well. Excellent five star service at the reception, clubhouse, dining room and barrooms. Have stayed and played here for over 30 years.
