Newnan Country Club

Newnan Country Club, a private 18-hole course in Georgia, United States, opened in 1919 and plays to a par of 72 across tree-lined fairways with water hazards, bunkers, multi-tiered greens, and elevation changes throughout the layout. Several holes stand out. The par-3 second plays to a kidney-shaped green. The fourth is a par 5 with a winding creek along the left side. Hole 14 is the longest on the course, with a generously wide downhill fairway. The par-3 17th plays downhill with water short and right. The club hosts the W. Wilkins Kirby Invitational and the Newnan Invitational. A driving range and instruction program — covering individual lessons, group sessions, 9-hole playing lessons, and an annual Players Program — support member development. The 29 North Restaurant serves lunch, dinner, weekend breakfast, and seasonal specials. The bar is open until 10:00 PM in summer, with monthly cocktail hours in the 1919 Room.
