Nayoro Shirakaba Country Club

Nayoro Shirakaba Country Club is a 36-hole woodland course in Nayoro, Hokkaido Prefecture, built across a birch-covered plain and enclosed by surrounding mountains that give the layout a basin-like feel. The terrain is largely flat, though the fairways carry gentle undulations that shift the ball's lie in subtle ways from shot to shot. The layout generally opens up more room to the right, offering some relief for players who tend to fade or slice. Birch trees line both sides of the fairways and are scattered throughout the course itself, adding a layer of strategic challenge to every hole.
