Moose Run Golf Course (Creek)

Hole 11 at Moose Run Golf Course (Creek) is the longest single hole on the course — a par 5 stretching 640 yards that signals the scale of what this municipal layout in Anchorage, Alaska puts in front of you. The Creek Course plays 7,324 yards from the back tees, with Ship Creek meandering through and alongside several holes at the base of the Chugach Mountains. Hole 6 plays through reclaimed gravel pits, adding a distinctive industrial-natural character to the routing. The course has hosted a full calendar of tournaments including the Summer Solstice, Red, White & Blue, Men's and Women's Club Championship, Junior Club Championship, Par 3 Tournament, Air Force Birthday Bash, DW Memorial 1 Person Scramble, and Ironman Tough Day. The driving range has 36 stalls, 12 covered, with targets at varying yardages and short game target nets. Two practice greens sit close to the clubhouse, and two chipping and pitching areas are available on the Hill Course side. Get Golf Ready lessons from PGA or LPGA Professionals are offered for new adult golfers. The Grizzly Grill Snack Bar is open 11am to 2pm, seven days a week.
