Monifieth Golf Club (The Medal)

Monifieth Golf Club (The Medal) is a semi-private links course in Monifieth, Scotland, dating to 1845 and designed by Allan Robertson. Rated 4.7 by Hole19 golfers and a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Scotland, it plays to par 72 across 18 holes, ranging from 5,904 to 6,662 yards. The layout runs across undulating fairways shaped by dunes, bunkers, gorse, and heather mounds, with a burn and a railway line adding further definition to the challenge. A chipping and putting area sits right beside the first tee, along with warm-up nets. A large shared practice area is a few minutes' drive away. Two clubhouses operate on a rotational basis, each offering shower facilities, food, and beverage. A Visitor Centre provides toilets and lockers, and a large meeting room is available to hire. The on-site pro shop, Ron McLeods, was voted 2024 TGIs Pro Shop of the Year.
