Milnerton Golf Club

Milnerton Golf Club, a links course in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa, has been in play since 1913 and was designed by Golf Data. The layout runs to 6,101 metres over a fairly flat, largely tree-free sand base, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, the Diep River, and a lagoon — conditions that put wind firmly in play. The course is rated 4.4 by Hole19 golfers and is one of the most-played courses in Western Cape on Hole19. It hosted the South African Masters six consecutive years from 1978 to 1983, and received a Worldgolf.com 5-Star rating for Design, Condition, Service and Facilities in 2013. Practice facilities include a dedicated driving range situated between the third and seventeenth fairways, a well-maintained putting green, and a chipping green with three practice bunkers. PGA Teaching Pro Arno Marais offers lessons and practice sessions through Legacy Golf Range. The pro shop handles bookings for golf carts and caddies on 021 552 3108. Post-round, the Sunset Lounge serves lunch and drinks. Changing rooms are fully equipped with hot showers, fresh towels, and shoe cleaning facilities.
