Metropolitan Golf Club, one of South Africa's oldest courses, opened in 1895 and was designed by Mark Müller. The private parkland layout in Cape Town, Western Cape, plays across 18 holes with Kikuyu fairways and bent grass greens. The 18th hole looks out over Cape Town Stadium and Table Mountain. Rated 4.6 by 100+ Hole19 golfers, it is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Western Cape. The Halfway House restaurant serves players during a mid-round stopover with a variety of food and beverages, including traditional Cape Malay cuisine. The bar, open 11:00–21:00, overlooks the 18th green, Cape Town Stadium, and Table Mountain. A Golf Shop run by PGA professionals stocks a full range of equipment, accessories, and premium branded apparel. A practice putting green is also available.
