Middle Island Country Club

Middle Island Country Club is a 27-hole facility in Yaphank, New York, and one of the most-played courses in New York on Hole19. Carved from 225 acres of the historic Lustengarten Nursery, it has maintained its natural character and competitive edge since 1965. The three nines each offer a distinct challenge. The Spruce Course features generous fairways and large greens that reward aggressive play off the tee, with a notable island green on the 393-yard, par-4 7th hole. Multiple tee boxes accommodate women, seniors, and championship players. The Dogwood Course tightens things up with narrow fairways that punish wayward shots, while its greens are the most demanding of the three — subtle breaks that can leave even confident putters guessing. The Oak Course rewards strategy and course knowledge above raw power. Nearly every hole features at least one dogleg, making it play longer than the yardage suggests. All three nines have been updated for greater playability and added fairness throughout.
