Maple Creek Country Club

Maple Creek Country Club, a private parkland course in Indianapolis, Indiana, was designed by Pete Dye and opened in 1961. Mature tree-lined fairways, small undulating greens, and Grassy Creek define the layout across 18 holes. Several holes carry direct connections to Dye's broader design work. The opening hole pays tribute to the first at St. Andrews, with Grassy Creek guarding the green. Hole 3, under 350 yards, was cited by Dye himself as one of the most challenging short holes he created. The 52-yard-long green on hole 13 gave Dye the confidence to later design the horseshoe green at Crooked Stick. Hole19 rates it one of the most-played courses in Indiana. Practice facilities include a driving range with grass tees and a synthetic turf strip, a putting green, and a Winter Golf Academy running December through April with three golf simulators and a private lessons station. The pro shop carries Titleist, Ping, Mizuno, and Callaway equipment alongside Footjoy, Under Armour, and Antigua apparel. Maple Creek Restaurant serves mainstream American dishes with seasonal menu changes and fish and chef-inspired specials. Pete Dye's Pub offers rotating domestic, imported, and IPA beers, cocktails, and made-to-order sandwiches.
