Firstly, I have to say that the course layout is great, fun to play and rewards good play and punishes bad play. However, it’s missing quite a bit considering how it markets itself online. The driving range costs £10 for 75 balls. I understand they have trackman and it’s more of a practice session, but it’s pretty steep if you just want a few swings to warm up. The course itself needs some care. There are a lot of bare spots around approaches to greens and on fairways. With regard to course navigation and amenities, the signposting is almost non-existent unless you’re at a crossroads, there are no bins on the course, no ball washers and no broken tee boxes. Overall, it wasn’t what I was expecting from an experience perspective, but it was fun and we enjoyed ourselves. Just some small changes and additions could make this into a really good experience.
