Links of North Dakota, a public 18-hole, par-72 course in North Dakota, United States, was designed by Stephen Kay in a true links style across rolling land with bluffs overlooking Lake Sakakawea. Wide open fairways are framed by native prairie grass rough, giving the layout an exposed, wind-influenced character. Hole 2 plays a blind tee shot over a center fairway bunker to a small green guarded by four greenside bunkers. Hole 17 is a dramatic downhill par 3 that plays considerably shorter than its yardage suggests. The course holds the #1 ranking in North Dakota from both Golfweek and Golf Digest, a top-100 position in the United States, and a Regional Course of the Year award. It is also recognized as the 2nd most affordable course on top-100 lists. A full snack bar with a variety of food items and beverages is available on site.
