Legacy Golf Course

Legacy Golf Course in Mason City, Iowa, is a semi-private 18-hole layout designed by Tom Bendelow and opened in 1915. The course plays through tree-lined fairways with bunkers positioned close to the greens and moderately sloped putting surfaces. Hole 11 is a water hole that stands out as one of the more challenging tests on the back nine. Legacy Golf Course has hosted Iowa Golf Association tournaments and carries a history that spans more than a century. Practice options include a driving range open to the public daily and two practice greens available to all players. The clubhouse has a full-service bar open during normal hours, a Pro Shop for tee time booking and club rentals, and a new Pavilion with seating for over 200 people.
