Highland Park Municipal Golf Course

Highland Park Municipal Golf Course is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Iowa, set in Mason City and operated by the city's Park & Recreation Board since 1956. The 18-hole layout plays to a par of 72 over approximately 6,200 yards, and its two nines have distinct characters. The front nine is the older half at 2,950 yards, featuring small greens and tight, tree-lined fairways. The back nine was built in the mid-1960s, stretches 3,250 yards, and opens up with larger greens and longer, more generous fairways. Both nines are equipped with automatic irrigation systems, and the putting surfaces are regarded as some of the best in the area.
