Description
Legacy Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 71 championship course in Phoenix, Arizona, designed by architect Gary Panks on the grounds of Dwight B. Heard's historic 7,500-acre ranch. The course takes its name from the Heard legacy and makes a point of preserving the site's history. Two original grain silos built in 1902 still stand along the 18th fairway — once the tallest structures in Maricopa County. The Sierra Vista House, marking the 1st tee, was visited by Theodore Roosevelt and Pancho Villa in the early 1900s. Legacy Golf Club is one of the most-played courses in Arizona on Hole19, and earns an average rating of 4.5 from Hole19 golfers.
