Reviews for Lakes Resort Pauanui

Disappointed. My local public course at $40 a round is twice as good than this place that charged $110. Overgrown tee boxes, poor quality fairways, bunkers covered in growth and ok greens but it won’t be long before they’re covered in other grasses and the whole course becomes abandoned. Was told at the pro shop that they’ll soon close Monday to Wednesday due to no visitors….. which is not a good sign of what could have (used to?) be a decent track.

Very dry . Pretty rough fairways. Just sand on tees. Bare patches on greens. Bit disappointed really,considering it's meant to be world class. Feel sorry for them, its tough with out water
