Lahinch Golf Club (Castle) is scheduled to host the 2026 Walker Cup, placing this 18-hole links course in County Clare, Ireland firmly on the competitive calendar. The layout dates to 1892, shaped initially by Old Tom Morris, then revised by Dr. Alister MacKenzie and later Dr. Martin Hawtree. The terrain runs across sand dunes, sandhills, tidal plains, and the tidal River Inagh. Hole 4, the Klondyke, and hole 5, the Dell, are both Morris originals. Hole 7 plays with Dough Castle as a backdrop. Seven practice greens sit within 100 yards of the first tee. The newly refurbished Golf Shop is fully stocked with all major brands. The Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant by Wild serves an extensive daytime and evening dinner menu using fresh local produce. Locker rooms with day lockers are also available. Access is semi-private.
