Reviews for Lafayette Golf Club

I have played the Lafayette Club at Falls of Rough a few times each year for the last 6-7 years. It is a very well designed course and challenging. However the course conditions and course maintenance have continued to decline year after year. We played today (9/19/22) and the course has never been worse. Several greens were closed with tiny, unputtable temporary greens placed in front. Ironically, the closed greens looked amazing and the open greens were patchy with enormous areas of bare dirt and the turf was like a shag carpet. Drainage on the course is nonexistent with huge areas of standing wet grass and mud. Cart paths are in disrepair. Greens that were open did not have flags installed. Just a terrible experience after we’ve given Lafayette chance after chance after chance. This was our last round at the course. Don’t waste your time or your money.
