Description
Kurmitola Golf Club is one of Bangladesh's most respected golf destinations, set across 126 acres in Dhaka and rated 4.7 by Hole19 golfers. The club's history stretches back to the mid-1950s. Originally located at what is now Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, it relocated to its current site in the mid-1960s. The course was initially laid out by architect Mr. Pennink, then redesigned into its present form by Dr. Sukitti Klangvhisai. The result is a strategically challenging 18-hole layout that remains playable year-round and is considered among the best-maintained courses in the subcontinent. Run under the supervision of the Bangladesh Army, Kurmitola Golf Club holds international affiliations with clubs around the world, making it a welcoming stop for visiting golfers as well as locals.
