Description
Kölner Golfclub (Kurzplatz) is a 9-hole pitch course located in the western part of Cologne, just 8,000 metres from Cologne Cathedral, within the city's Outer Green Belt. The course was designed by Heinz Fehring, who drew inspiration from both links and parkland layouts. The result is a gently shaped landscape featuring rolling hills, large ponds, and a generous spread of trees and shrubs. The wider Kölner Golfclub has been ranked 22nd among more than 700 golf courses in Germany by Golfmagazin. At Par 27, the 9-hole layout is well suited for practising short approach shots and refining the short game.
