Knickerbocker Country Club

Knickerbocker Country Club, a private 18-hole course in Tenafly, New Jersey, was designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1914. The layout reflects Ross's hallmark approach, with undulating greens and considered green complexes that reward precise approach play. The club has hosted the 1921 New Jersey State Open, the 2014 New Jersey State Amateur, and the 2020 New Jersey State Open. It holds a place on the Top 200 Classic Golf Courses list and ranked #169 on GOLFWEEK's 2019 Best Classic Courses. The Metropolitan Golf Writers Association named it Club of the Year.
