Kieler Golf Club Havighorst

Kieler Golf Club Havighorst opened in 1989 in Honigsee, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and plays across 18 holes of terrain shaped by the glacial end-moraine hills of the Holsteinische Schweiz. Lush meadows, expansive woodland, mature trees, and the ponds typical of the region's Knick landscape define the layout throughout the round. The course operates on a semi-private basis. Practice facilities include a large driving range with numerous grass tee positions and four covered bays fitted with mirrors, along with separate putting greens and a short-game area for pitch, chip, and bunker work. An indoor golf facility in the clubhouse adds a tee box, practice bunker, and putting green for off-course sessions. The clubhouse itself dates to 1913, originally built as a cowshed and barn using traditional timber-frame construction. A pro shop and club secretariat are located at the entrance.
