A no frills golf course. I'm not an expert, but the fairway grass reminds me a lot of the low quality cow grass they use in Singapore. No problem, just add a club or two to your usual play. The greens are slow, so add a bit more petrol to your putts. Make sure you add some extra golf balls, you're bound to lose some (but not as badly as on Champions golf course in Singapore). Staff at the reception is very friendly. The course is open to everyone; come with shorts if you want. The caddy I had could only speak Thai and didn't give any advice, but that's ok for me. She pulled the cart, cleaned my clubs and golf balls, and found most of my balls in the rough that I would have considered lost. The course itself has some very challenging and narrow passages for a feeble amateur such as yours truly. Course management is more important here than on a 5-star course; sometimes a shorter club is a lot more sensible for your approach. If you go for 18 holes, you (as a man) will play from the blue tee box in the first round, and from the white tee box in the latter half. If you're in the region passing through with your golf clubs on the way to or from other, bigger, swankier golf courses, don't give this course a miss.
