Joanne Goulet Golf Course

Joanne Goulet Golf Course is Regina's municipal executive-length 18-hole layout and a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Saskatchewan. Designed to be completed in as little as 3½ hours, it suits golfers who want a full round without sacrificing variety — the mix of long and short holes means every club in the bag gets used. The back nine, designed by Dave Grant, plays longer than the front and features generously sized greens well protected by sand. Their mostly level surfaces read true, making them forgiving for newer golfers while still rewarding aggressive play. Wascana Creek winds through the entire course and comes into play on 15 of the 18 holes, providing the bulk of the challenge. The layout is open with few trees, so the creek does most of the work. The toughest test is the par-three 13th, which plays uphill to an elevated green, making its 214 yards feel even longer. A bunker front-left and the creek running the full length of the left side add further pressure.
