This is a council owned municipal course, and it shows. The quality course is often like a well mowed school field. The back 9 is open, high up, and characterless which is susceptible to gusty wind which really doesn't help play. It's cheap and cheerful and because of its location it's easy to visit for a cheeky round. Not many courses in Telford have driving range facilities, but this one does, and on Saturdays it's often jam packed. The pro's here always seem to be on the range giving lessons and by all accounts they're good at it. Probably my least favourite course in the area but it's a popular one for others.
