Highland Pines Golf Club

Highland Pines Golf Club, a semi-private 18-hole course in Porter, Texas, plays through terrain shaped by the San Jacinto River banks and river basin, with pines, hardwoods, lakes, meadows, valleys, and elevation changes across a layout stretching 7,200–7,300 yards. Several holes stand out. Hole 7 is drivable and regarded as one of the prettiest on the course. Hole 8 is a par 3 with water and rocks that must be carried directly. Hole 11, a par 4 that swings right, is the Director of Golf's personal favorite. Hole 17 is a par 3 with a multi-tiered green. The driving range is open to members and players with tee times.
