Description
Hawarden Golf Club, opened in 1911 in Hawarden, Wales, is an 18-hole semi-private parkland course built on undulating ground with sandy soil — conditions that promote firm, fast turf through much of the season. The closing hole is a par 3 with a green that holds spin, giving players a clear scoring opportunity to finish. The course was named Wales Golf Club of the Year 2025 and is rated 4.6 by 60+ Hole19 golfers, making it a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Wales. A 150-yard long game practice area and a dedicated green for chipping and short shots are available before the round. PGA Golf Professional Alex Rowland offers lessons on site. The clubhouse includes a bar with waiting on staff and a room for private parties.
