Harborside International Golf Center (Starboard)

Designed by Dick Nugent and opened in 1996, Harborside International Golf Center (Starboard) is an 18-hole public links course in Chicago, Illinois. The layout plays alongside Lake Calumet, with sculpted fairways, manicured greens, and native areas that support local wildlife throughout the grounds. Hole 17, a par 3 called "Buccaneers Cove," carries over Lake Calumet from tee to green. The course has earned a place on Golfweek's Best 2025 list of Illinois' best public-access courses (T#9) and has held a Golf Range Association of America Top 50 Public Facility designation from 2014 through 2025. It also received the NGCOA Player Development Award in 2024. Practice options include four target greens for iron approaches and separate areas for chipping, pitching, and sand play. The 20,000 square-foot prairie-style clubhouse includes a pro shop where rates are adjusted upon check-in. Harborside International Golf Center (Starboard) is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Illinois.
