Harborside International Golf Center (Port)

Harborside International Golf Center (Port) hosted the SBC Senior Open, a PGA Champions Tour event, in 2002 — a marker of the standing this Dick Nugent-designed links course has built since opening in 1995. Set in Chicago, Illinois, the 18-hole public layout plays through windswept terrain of high grassy dunes, tufted mounds, tangled roughs, and Lake Calumet vistas. Hole 15, a par 3 known as the "Anchor Hole," is the course's signature. Golfweek's Best 2025 ranks it among Illinois' top public-access courses (T#9), and it has held a Golf Range Association of America Top 50 Public Facility designation from 2014 through 2025. The shared 57-acre practice facility includes bent grass tees matched to course conditions, four target greens for iron work, and separate areas for chipping, pitching, and sand play. The 20,000 square-foot, prairie-style inspired clubhouse is home to The Pier at Harborside, which serves classic American favorites including wings, wraps, salads, and Angus beef burgers.
