Harbor Pines Golf Club, a public parkland course in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, is recognized as one of the best golf courses in South Jersey and rated among the best-maintained in the region. The layout winds through wooded acres with water features, undulating greens, and bunkers throughout its 18 holes. Two holes stand out on the card. The par-5 7th crosses Sand Creek via a bridge to reach a bunker-lined fairway. The 17th is guarded by an enormous half-acre bunker that shapes the approach entirely. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in New Jersey. Practice options are extensive: a driving range with 15 hitting zones and a 300-plus-yard fairway, an oversize putting green with complex undulations, a chipping and pitching area with sand trap and approach apron, and the Mike Newell Golf Academy offering instruction and junior golf clinics. The Roost Pub & Grill serves American cuisine for lunch and dinner daily, with handcrafted cocktails, indoor and outdoor dining, happy hours Monday through Thursday, and Friday Nights Live entertainment. A fully stocked Pro Shop and locker rooms with shower facilities are also on site.
