Guyan Golf & Country Club

A private 18-hole course in Pea Ridge, West Virginia, Guyan Golf & Country Club has hosted U.S. Amateur and U.S. Open Qualifiers, the Women's Western Amateur, the USGA Girl's Junior Amateur, and multiple West Virginia state championships, giving it one of the deeper tournament résumés in the region. Designed by Herbert Strong and opened in 1922, the layout plays between 6,525 and 7,100 yards to a par of 72. The terrain runs through dense forest across a ridge, with elevated greens, a two-tiered green, sloped fairways, and deeply undulated putting surfaces that place a premium on approach accuracy. The Rick Ellison Golf Academy supports all skill levels with video analysis, FlightScope radar instruction, on-course instruction, indoor simulation, junior camps, and group clinics. The clubhouse dining includes a formal dining room, main dining room, veranda dining, and the 19th Grill, with daily lunch and dinner, monthly theme nights, and Sunday Brunch on offer.
