Greenville Country Club (Riverside)

Greenville Country Club (Riverside) is a private, 18-hole links-style course in Greenville, South Carolina, stretching over 7,000 yards and designed by Thomas Bendelow, who opened it in 1923. Golf Digest has ranked it among America's 100 Greatest Courses. The layout moves across rolling hills and sloping topography, through towering pines and alongside serene creeks and the Reedy River. The 18th, a par-4 with a green set beyond a restored creek and below the clubhouse, closes the round with a clear challenge. The club has hosted CGA and SCGA events. Practice amenities include expanded driving ranges, practice greens, practice bunkers, and instruction from a staff of PGA Professionals. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, meeting facilities for private and business events, and six dining experiences ranging from club casual and on-course options to upscale service.
