Green Meadow Golf Club (Prairie)

Green Meadow Golf Club (Prairie) is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in New Hampshire, and it's easy to see why. This 18-hole public course in Hudson has been welcoming golfers since 1959, when founders Phil and Jeanne Friel built it across a cluster of former farmlands. The Prairie course is the flatter, more wide-open of the two 18-hole layouts at Green Meadow. It rewards good ball-striking while keeping penalties fair — a philosophy Phil Friel held firmly: a good shot should be rewarded, and a bad shot should cost no more than one stroke. That balance of challenge, variety, and reward has defined Green Meadow for nearly fifty years, making it a long-standing benchmark for public golf in southern New Hampshire.
