Green Island Country Club

Green Island Country Club is a private 18-hole course in Columbus, Georgia, designed by George Cobb and opened in 1962. The layout moves through pine forests along the Lake Oliver shoreline, giving the course a defined natural character. The club has hosted the Green Island Open, the Southern Open, and the Buick Challenge. Practice amenities include a driving range with designated areas and both regular and limited flight range balls, a putting green, and instruction from a Director of Instruction. The full-service Golf Shop includes Men's and Ladies' Locker Rooms. The Island Grill offers casual dining downstairs and formal dining upstairs. A Men's Grill sits above the Men's Locker Room. The Bunker Room Steak & Chop House, a large ballroom, and entertainment rooms are also on site.
