The layout moves through heathland, woodland, and moorland, with water hazards adding further variety across the three nines. Practice facilities include a 20-bay driving range (partially covered), a putting green, and a dedicated short game area with a pitching green, chipping green, and practice bunker. Golfschule David Bunce operates on site; Head-Pro David is available Tuesday to Sunday from April to October, with Robert MacMillan available Thursday and Friday. The pro shop can also arrange training appointments. Restaurant Birdie-Time is open to members and guests, with a summer terrace overlooking greens 18 and 27 and a kitchen open until 20:00.
