Marc Van MeenselSeptember 24, 2020Wie de nostalgie van het Britse leger wil proeven moet hier zeker komen golfen. Onmiddellijk bij binnenkomen worden we eraan herinnert dat we op een voormalige Britse basis zijn. Rechts hebben we een klein museum. Al bij de afslag van hole 1 slaan we het balletje over een gecamoufleerde hangar, we zien de vlag niet staan. Overal op het terrein zien we hangars, onderhoudshallen en borden met engelstalige opschriften. De baan zelf is technisch moeilijk met smalle doorgangen, veel bomen en dan is er de stilte. Met een beetje geluk zie je ‘s morgen een reetje of een eekhoorn. Zeker een golfdag waard.
