Description
Golfclub Schloss Monrepos is an 18-hole course set along the shores of Lake Monrepos in Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, integrated into a recreational park alongside the Hofkammer and the Schlosshotel. Its central location keeps travel times short for golfers. One of the course's defining features is the Autobahn 81, which runs through the middle of the layout. A public bridge — shared with pedestrians, riders, and joggers — connects the two halves: 11 holes to the south and 7 to the north. Designed by architect Carl F. Grohs across roughly 80 hectares, the course was expanded from 9 to 18 holes on 23 June 2007. Facilities include a two-storey driving range with around 35 open bays and 18 covered bays. A separate public course on the same grounds offers golf to all levels of player. Rated 4.6 by Hole19 golfers, it is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Baden-Württemberg.
