Golfclub Hünxerwald sits on the edge of the Hünxerwald forest near Hünxe, North Rhine-Westphalia, well away from road noise and surrounded by natural scenery. The front nine play through gently rolling terrain, where mature trees and protected water ditches give the layout much of its visual character. The back nine shift to the flatter, classic Lower Rhine style, but stay engaging throughout — doglegs and an island green on the inward half provide genuine challenges that keep the round interesting to the end. All 18 holes are set within a largely unspoiled natural environment, making this a course that rewards both accuracy and course management.
