Golfclub Bayreuth (Links)

Golfclub Bayreuth (Links) was designed by Thomas Himmel and Joan F. Dudok van Heel and opened in 1995 in Bayreuth, Bavaria, Germany. The semi-private, par-72 layout plays across 18 holes with a yardage range of 4,964–5,992 metres. The course runs through hilly terrain with side slopes and an elevation change of approximately 60 metres. Fifty strategically placed bunkers, large undulating greens, two pond features, and numerous biotopes shape the layout. Hole 12 stands out with a green of approximately 650 m², while holes 9 and 10 sit roughly two kilometres from the clubhouse. The course hosted the 2012 Bayreuth OPEN EPD Tour, which drew 119 participants. Practice options include a putting green and a short-game area with diverse chip and pitch zones plus a practice bunker. The Nila Restaurant serves as the on-site dining option, with opening times, reservations, and events managed through a separate web presence.
