Golf Club Udine - Villaverde Hotel & Resort

Set on moraine hills in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy, Golf Club Udine - Villaverde Hotel & Resort is an 18-hole, par-72 resort course designed by John Dering Harris and opened in 1970. The layout stretches between 6,300 and 7,000 meters through oak and beech trees, with bunkers throughout. Hole 15 plays to a green protected by a lake, with trees lining the right and the fairway running left. Hole 18 is a par-4 of around 380 meters, uphill to a large green. The course has hosted a European Senior Tour leg since 2016 and is rated 4.5 by 70+ Hole19 golfers. The practice facilities are extensive: a driving range covering over 33,000 square metres with separate buildings for long game and short game, a 180-square-metre putting green accommodating 32 players, two additional putting greens of 290 and 740 square metres, and a short game area of over 3,000 square metres with pitching, chipping, and bunker practice. The Villaverde Bar&Restaurant in the clubhouse serves quick light lunches and casual dinners.
