Golf-Club Kürten (Meisterschaftsplatz) is an 18-hole course in Kürten, North Rhine-Westphalia, founded in 1991 and opened for full play in 1995 across 115 hectares of leased land in the Bergisches Land region. The rolling topography of the area shaped the design from the start, with careful planning required to route playable, attractive holes through the natural landscape. The result is a layout where multiple holes carry a strong individual character — not just a single signature hole, but a series of recognisable, memorable layouts. The club grew quickly, attracting 600 members in its founding year and reaching 800 by the time the course opened.
