The layout moves through hills, valleys, and forests, with ponds, biotopes, and alpine views in play. The opening hole drops into a wide valley floor before the fairway bends right. Hole 2 climbs steeply before a tee shot uphill with a left dogleg. Hole 4 calls for a precise mid-iron to a small green sitting in a downhill hollow. The club holds the Umweltpreis des Deutschen Golfverbands, an environmental award from the German Golf Association. Practice facilities include a driving range, a large chipping green, and free taster lessons every Sunday from 14:00 to 16:00. The restaurant La Famiglia serves Mediterranean dishes alongside Bavarian specialities.
