Golf Club de Grado

Golf Club de Grado is a championship layout set between the Laguna di Grado and the Mediterranean Sea in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. The 18-hole, par 72 course stretches 6,650 yards and was designed by Marco Croze, opening in 1996. The course is best known for its signature island-green hole, drawing comparisons to the famous 17th at TPC Sawgrass. Water comes into play on nearly every hole, while contoured greens and a persistent sea breeze add consistent challenge throughout the round. Following significant improvements in 2011, the course went on to host the 2013 Open Friuli Venezia Giulia on the Alps Tour professional circuit, as well as the inaugural PGA Seniors Italy Doubles Championship that same year.
