Golf Club Bergisch Land

Set in Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, Golf Club Bergisch Land is a private 18-hole course that opened in 1928 and is ranked 12th in the Top 50 Golf Courses of Germany 2024. Rated 4.8 by 80+ Hole19 golfers, it is one of the most highly regarded layouts in the region. The course plays across terrain shaped by water hazards, bunkers, trees, slopes, streams, and out-of-bounds zones. Hole 13 is the course's signature: the tee shot rewards a well-struck drive, and players of a range of handicaps can reach 250 metres or more from the tee. Practice options include a dedicated target range and both qualification classes and taster courses run through the academy. The pro shop, located in the secretariat, stocks tees, balls, gloves, golf clothing from J.Lindeberg and FootJoy, and Ecco golf shoes. The Casa Monaco restaurant serves a seasonal menu and caters for private golf tournaments and events.
