Golf at River Valley Ranch

Golf at River Valley Ranch is an 18-hole public course in Carbondale, Colorado, designed by Jay Morrish and opened in 1999. The layout runs through a mountainous valley with the Crystal River meandering through the property. The first hole sets the tone early, with the Crystal River crossing directly in front of the tee. Golf Week Magazine ranked it a Top Ten Public Golf Course in Colorado in 2025. Practice facilities include a driving range, two putting surfaces, and chipping and bunker areas. Individual and group lessons, clinics, and junior programs are available through the RVR Academy. The pro shop carries apparel and equipment from major brands, with club rentals, re-gripping, and repair services on site, plus a Full Swing golf simulator. The Handlebar is a full-service bar inside the clubhouse.
