Glen Oaks Country Club

Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa has earned a consistent place at the top of Golf Digest's Iowa rankings, including a #1 ranking in the state, and has been ranked in the top 3 in Iowa on multiple occasions. The Tom Fazio-designed private 18-hole layout opened in 1991. Hole 2, known as The View, is a par 3 with an elevated tee box looking out over a left-side pond. Hole 1, The Shoot, is a par 4 updated with new sand traps. Hole 4, Go For It, is a par 4 that received a full redesign including raised tee boxes, a rebuilt bridge, and a new green. Practice facilities include a driving range with range balls available for outings and lessons for members of all skill levels. The Golf Shop carries current equipment and apparel. The Club restaurant serves lunch and dinner, with a Pasta Bar on Tuesdays and Sunday Brunch. The patio bar and ice cream shoppe, a resort-style aquatics park, and a fitness room with an on-site personal trainer round out the member amenities.
